Don’t keep in a suit of armour what causes you pain. Narrate it to ears that are not invisible. Let yourself be visible, after you learn to see yourself first. No one can hurt you unless you allow them to. You must decide for Yourself. Others treat us the way we allow them to. When you uncover a fear, it’s like unveiling a ghost, which most of the time is nothing but a sheet in the form of a ghost. “Suits of armour” have the tendency to turn into fences of isolation; they “stick” to whoever “wears” them, and later on it is hard to part with them. At some point in their lives, someone may feel the need to obtain a suit of armour. However, no suit of armour is capable of protecting us from ourselves. If we ignore ourselves, if we fail to accept ourselves, if we don’t know ourselves, or leave ourselves a breathing space, the suit of armour may hurt and suffocate us, instead of protecting us…
